From the Philippines

on Mon 10 Sep - 4:44
Hi! I have been a member of the forum in the old website. I have been married last 2016. I have shared in the previous website that I fell in love with a distant cousin but I have not expressed it to her for fear of rejection or even reprimand from our relatives. As many of you might know, the Philippines is a highly conservative country in which religion plays a major role in our daily lives. Even state policies are dictated by religious norms particularly Catholic ones. Anyway, I am glad to have rediscovered this forum again and I would like to share that right now, I am somehow attracted to my sister-in-law.

Thank you. Smile

Welcome back! We've been here for quite a while after frequently moving from place to place. I've upgraded your account.

Welcome back, I had no idea that it was so strict in the Phillipines. I know some countries have issues with first cousins (like about half of the states in the USA), but more distant cousins is nearly always legal. In fact in the majority of countries worldwide, cousin marriage, even between first cousins is legal.
