Hello everyone,
my name is David. I am 59 years of age and I had experiences with my Mother starting when I was of the age of consent where we lived. I am now beginning to feel guilty about it and their is no one to talk to. Up until now. It is great to find people who had experiences with family members and can talk me through my feelings. Welcome to KS, David. Guilt is nothing unusual for people who have had these kinds of experiences. You're far from alone in this. The guilt usually comes from societal perceptions of incest being imprinted upon your subconcious belief system, once you are able to realize that this is so, then things will get easier and the guilt will disappear. So long as what went on between yourself and your mother was two consenting adults of sound mind, then there really isn't anything to feel bad a about.
