Woman in GSA affair with half-brother

Hello everyone,

I am new to this forum, I have been on the GSA Forum that is against having a sexual relationship with a family member for just over two years now. I am married for nearly 20 years and for the past 2 years I have also been in a sexual relationship (I guess I need to call it an affair) with my (half-)brother who I met three years ago when I was united with my father and his side of the family who I never had known. And they had never known about my existence.

My brother and I live far apart and in different countries and we can only 'indulge' in each other a couple of times a year. But when we are together, it is so beautiful and intense. Where we live incest is not against the law, but still, the taboo is such that we have had to decide that it is impossible for us to have a proper relationship. Our family would not accept it. We do not want to live in isolation. I do not want to be an unfaithful wife for a prolonged period of time, but at the same time I cannot let go of the sexual relationship I have now with my brother.... It simply feels too good.

I realise it has the potential to turn very badly and leave him, my husband and myself in a terrible situation. But that realisation is not enough to stop me from carrying on with this bittersweet affair.

That was my story told in a VERY short way... (I could write a book about it!)

I am wondering if there are any others in a similar situation.
