Hello, I'm 54 and my sister is 55, both living in the US a large distance apart. We were both adopted to different families and through persistent searching, she located me last year. When she visited, it was an instant attraction, but we didn't admit it to each other right away. Our love has only grown since then. I had no idea about any others until she sent an article about GSA to me. Grateful for the understanding and acceptance.

GSA is very, very common. You are not alone.

Do you have any plans to move closer together?

That would be our fondest wish! Unfortunately there are currently circumstances that prevent that. So for now, phone calls and the internet sustain us since her last wonderful visit last December. But we have hope.  Thanks for your interest.  I'll try to post in My Story soon.
