E-petitions: Relating to China's policy on its Uighur population

Notice one of the speakers near the end says:

"we will not in this  house take any reason for undermining someone's human rights, because, if one person's human rights is denied then everyone's human rights are denied"

The Uighur population is about 12 milion, ( including children) but the world Ciao population is about 10 times bigger, closer to 120 million adults.

"Official figures released by Chinese authorities place the population of Uyghurs within the Xinjiang region to be just over 12 million, comprising approximately half of the total regional population."

Nearly half the world's adult population of about 5.6 billion adults live in 160 or so countries where CIAO people are treated as criminals, live in permanent fear of detection,  and face mass brainwashing by the  anti-Ciao state education and media systems,  arrest judgement and imprisonment, by anti-CIAO criminal justice systems, and generally social  repression and humiliation,  forced social isolation, and loss of income and children if arrested. This is ' world wide crypto- eugenics'  and a form of genocide against CIAO people. It also involves permanent surveillance by society and after being  put on the national sex criminal  register for having consensual adult relationships - a victimless crime. CIAO people may be denied rights to jobs and housing and travel visas. (Not to mention a almost total global ban consanguineous marriages that denies CIAO people rights of married people!) Thus, if CIAO people are around 2 percent of the  adult global population  the target of state-sponored slow genocide (Ciao People) has a population of 112 million people,  a number 9.3 times larger than the Uighur population in Xinjiang.

I don't wish to underrate the seriousness of the problem for Uighurs in Xinjiang, however I don't see any reason why the  legal  definition of genocide can not be applied to state policies against  CIAO people.

One definition  of genocide in 1946 was from the United Nations :-

946 United Nations General Assembly Resolution 96 (I) (11 December)

Genocide is a denial of the right of existence of entire human groups, as homicide is the denial of the right to live of individual human beings; such denial of the right of existence shocks the conscience of mankind, …and is contrary to moral law and to the spirit and aims of the United Nations. …

The General Assembly, therefore, affirms that genocide is a crime under international law…whether the crime is committed on religious, racial, political or any other grounds…[10]
