An answer from chat GTP
Tue 28 Feb 2023 - 13:42
As some of you may be aware, artificial intelligence, and in particular Chat GPT, is showing promising sign of complexity and reasoning.
It would be interesting to construct some sort of logical argument with chatGPT that advocates for the moral and spiritual legitimacy of family relationships.
Of course to begin with, it might spout out some of the general tosh we hear relating to the subject, but I suspect that a rational and logical argument might bear some interesting conclusions.
I myself have tried to sign up and create an account, however, a phone number is required to verify the account. The country I am currently living in does not support this feature, for some reason.
Would anyone be up for trying this out?
Best wishes everyone!

Interesting.
A couple of decades ago I got into artificial intelligence mark-up language as a hobby & worked with chat robots for a long time. It's been a while since I've been involved with it, so have never heard of "chat gpt", and since they have the unfortunate demand of obtaining a phone number in order to learn about it, I'll not participate in that venture.
The trend toward putting all online computing into a mobile phone based tracking system has ruined the internet & is a very unfortunate reality.
Thanks for the post - hope to find something that isn't so privacy invading.
Best wishes.
Peace

I tried to sign up for chatgpt a month or two ago, but I was unsuccessful at getting registered.
I just tried again with a different email address, but it said 'Signup is currently unavailable, please try again later.'
It seems that as someone predicted already, Artificial Intelligence it probably going to be the biggest threat to human existence, (after Trump and Putin of course:-)
If others can try and get the chatgpt thing to work and get some good 'pro-CIAO articles written ... that would be great. It is worth a try. And the articles could be used by our lobbyists.
(Apparently, bombarding gatekeepers with emails and letters does work.
Thousands of emails were sent to the Australian Therapeutic Goods Admin by lobbyists. TGA ("government authority responsible for evaluating, assessing and monitoring products that are defined as therapeutic goods. We regulate medicines, medical devices and biologicals to help Australians stay healthy and safe." to get them to allow the use of illegal drug in treating...depression and ptsd.

It turns out the leader of the group lobbying for these changes has shares in the company that has already been set up to provide the expensive treatments ($6,000 -$30,000.
But perhaps the head of the TGA was offered something to help him change his mind? (I've heard that MDMA is quite nice:-)
