I am way, way over 18.
Real name is Mark.
I have no direct personal incest history.
I am a Registered Nurse, BSN, with an additional BS in psychology and some history as a caseworker in child welfare.
I am an active member at a social site involving sexual expression that is deemed unacceptable. Incest sometimes comes up as a topic there, both as a fetish and as a part of members' personal history. Those with history seem to have no outlet or forum for discussing their experiences and desires. This forum is the first such place I've found after several weeks of searching. I was particularly frustrated that nearly all non-porn references to incest AUTOMATICALLY categorized it as abuse. I see this as hurtful to those who are willingly involved in or desirous of such relationships.
I'm happy to discuss that other site in personal messages, but that's not why I'm here.
My reasons for joining are:
1) Healthy curiosity. Learn and grow.
2) To support members of this community in whatever lazy way I can.
3) To be able to address this topic in other forums in a constructive way, including referring people here, when appropriate.
This will probably be the longest post I'll ever make here. I can do the most good by keeping my mouth shut and my eyes open.

We’d welcome anyone who either has a personal history, or genuine feelings for their close relatives, or who is genuinely an ally for those involved. As long as they stay within the forum rules, which we have to have to keep supportive.
