Hello everyone, a Happy New Year to you all. My name is Fran (in my mid-40’s) and I’m a widow who has recently started a sexual relationship with my 20 y.o. son. Frankly, I don’t think this is right but it feel so good that I couldn’t stop. And it’s even more complicated because my boy has been going steady with a fine young girl and there’s a chance that they might get married someday.

I hope I could get some support and advice here.

Hello Fran, and welcome! My mom Takako and I have been together in a relationship for twenty plus years, and we are enjoying it to this day. Of course, we do have our share of difficult problems and complicated situations. Especially for Takako, who has the difficulty of being "the mother" and "the lover". I'm sure she'd understand your frustrations.

And I haven't been quite the perfect son or perfect lover as any mother/lover come to expect. I've been unfaithful to her and on a few occasions I'd even brought the girl home. But that was a long time ago when I was still too young to use my head for thinking. And then there were times when we decided to stop, wondering whether I should move on to start a "normal" family, and the list goes on...

Somehow, we have chosen to be together even though we have to work extra hard to keep this secret. It's not just the sex; the love, trust and bond between us are immeasurable. (But let's not kid ourselves, the sex is wonderful too!)

Let's hope you'll have more memorable moments to share with us here.
