Hello,
I reached out to Jane Doe through a private message and was advised to join this forum.
My name is Marie and I am 29 yrs old. 3 years ago I entered in a romantic relationship with my brother. I was put up for adoption at birth and he wasn't. We met as adults in 2008 and it was instant attraction. He was married but divorced last year. I am married but have been separated for 7 months now and have been living with my brother. I have a child and my family knows the truth and are somewhat understanding but still urge me to stay married for my child. My husband has been understanding and has told me to be with where my heart is and that we would co parent. But I'm struggling with leaving everything behind to be with my true happiness. I'm afraid when my son gets older that my decision will do more damage to him. I have been struggling with anxiety and depression because no one understands how happy I am with my brother. I'm worried I will make the wrong decision or possibly pass up on true happiness.
