I was with my mom for about 5 years, 30 years ago.

As a teen, I was attracted to a cousin, but we were never close. When I grew up, I moved overseas and we lost contact altogether. I've seen her twice since I moved away, both times when I went back home for a funeral, and I find her more attractive than ever. I'm content with my life and my relationship but I can't help wondering what it would have been like to be with her instead. It seems like such a beautiful thing to have a relationship with a cousin, or closer.
