What's even more amazing is that this mention refers to the now defunct first version of KS which hasn't existed in two years, and the founders of that one are long gone. This version of KS has been running for two years, I set this version up along with help from some others who also wanted to restart KS. This new version is better, more reliable forum provider (so far we've only had like 4 hours of downtime in 2 years, and that isn't bad going), easier on the eyes, less confusing admin panel so my job is easier... all round better.

In any case, end of history lesson, welcome to KS, you're better off in here than reddit any day of the week

Welcome to all!

It might have something to do with recent US laws and reddit's response to them. Communities there are dying out or relocating in response to censorship.
