The reason why am I here

Hello!
I'm in my mid fourties. Reunited with my half sibling six months ago and now overwhelmed with emotions. I believe this is mutual. Very difficult situation because of families and everything. Just need to read about similar experiences or something that could help me with this and could continue with my life.

6 months is a beat of wings ....
emotions, feelings, curiosities etc ... are amplified by the fact that the other person is your sibiling... ( there is a great difference in this).
Simply let time give you two a chance to get over the "bucketful of icy water" you have received and slowly everything is scaled back to a real relationship (whatever it is), but cleaned up from the initial shock..., cofusion of the mind and feelings are the best enemy for you in this moment I think.

I guess that's just enough at the moment ...
