Dont worry about necroposting

We've had many newcomers within recent weeks, and many ancient threads have been resurrected, and some people have apologised for so-called 'necroposting'. I would like to reassure those people that it is perfectly acceptable to post in a years-long dead thread if you have something relevant to say. Those old threads are a part of our forum history, and are as relevant today as when they were active, the fact that you want to contribute to those threads proves that! So dont start looking at post dates wondering if you should add or not, if you've something you want to say, just say it, nobody is going to tell you off for resurrecting a dead thread.

I sure wish we could find out what eventually happened in some of those old threads.

Repeating situation: The Pregnant Pause. Someone announces that they or their partner are pregnant, or have decided to get pregnant, and we never hear anything more.

Kind of like reading a mystery and finding out that the last ten pages have been ripped out and you can’t find out whodunit...

Profile->Preferences->Date format and change it to something that shows the year.
