That would be me, LOL. I used to use the username Jane Dow when I had a fake account on FB, just because the website would not accept Jane Doe as a username. FB doesn't like anonymity, and being prominent in this community kind of requires anonymity. The account was locked of course, then I gave up using FB for anything but the account under my actual real name, and of course I can't do any consang related postings using that account.

Sorry about that folks! Sincere apologies! My only excuse is 'bad brain function after flu shot, probably contributing to already poor brain function.' I trust people figured it out.

How time flies when you are having fun.

Consanguinamory Day is only a few weeks away and Ciaotannia Day follows on the next day.

Usually I don't have a really big celebration and I don't go out and cut down a whole forest of young conifers as a tree blood sacrifice or anything like that. Each to their own.

Perhaps for Ciaotannia Day I might bake some Ciaotannia gingerbread biscuits (cookies for Americans:-) (shaped like little Ciao people) and eat them while waving a Ciaotannia flag and singing the Ciaotannia Imperial anthem. (Almost like the theme to Mannix).
Well, whatever you do. don't forget to remember those two important festive days are coming up - time to be joyous and happy and aware that we are not all alone and we are alive and thriving. Another things is to remember to be thankful to Empress Jane for starting the K.S. website, and all the work by the other lovely andbeautiful people who make it work. Our hats off to them! Best wishes to all. Happy celebrating!

Even if you don't show it everyday, "fly your Christina's lily flag" that day. Show a likeness of it on your car, or wear your button-I have a whole bag full! Print one off and put it in your window for a day. Maybe you'll make a new friend and find a confidant.

My goodness! Has time gone by that fast? Consang Day and Ciaotannia day are nearly here again! Only two weeks away. How are we going to celebrate this year? Does anyone have any ideas? All I can think of is chocolate coated gingerbread Ciaos at the moment, but it is well after lunch time. Diabetes?

Fellow citizens of Ciaotannia. We observe today a celebration of freedom symbolising an end as well as a beginning, signifying a renewal as well as change. Another year, another milestone has passed.
I have sworn an oath before you and before the Almighty. I made a solemn oath. The world is very different now, for man holds in his mortal hands the power to abolish both all forms of human poverty and all forms of human (and animal) life and yet the same revolutionary beliefs for which our forebears fought are still at issue around the globe. The belief that the rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hand of God. In the whole history of the world only a few generations have been granted the role of defending freedom in its hour of maximum danger. I do not shrink from this responsibility. I welcome it. I do not believe that any of us would exchange places with any other people or any other generation. The energy, the faith, the devotion which we bring to this endeavour, will light Ciaotannia and all who serve it and the glow from that fire can truly light the world. And so, my fellow Ciaotannians, ask not what Ciaotannia can do for you, ask what you can do for Ciaotannia. My fellow citizens of the world, ask not what this world will do for you but what together as Ciaotannians we can do for the freedom of man.

I had a job to meet a long term customer this AM. He didn't ask me about the tears on my face, but I was missing mom so bad. She loved to be with me when we met him, she was always so proud of me, and I loved to excite her when I operated heavy equipment.

Sorry it brought back such bittersweet memories for you, Rick.

Well. Ciaotannia Day is nearly upon us. When it arrives, I hope all Ciaotannians have a wonderful day of celebrations, joy and peace with their loved ones.

So far, the Ciaotannian Empire has not ordered the collection of taxes (Empress Jane Doe in her generosity and wisdom has never even charged a membership fee for those who join Kindred Spirits). However, the C.E. doesn't need to raise any taxes as it is not running 'forever wars' around the world to try to 'divide and rule' its own hegemonic global empire, like some unterstates are currently continuing to try to do. (They are so delusional).
