Introduction

Hello, I have been in love with my mother for about 5 years now. After holding my feelings inside for about a year I decided to try and confess to her, she did not reciprocate my feelings. She wasn't mad or anything but I felt a lot of shame afterwards, like I was a freak or something. She ended up leaving the house we lived in, not because of what I said, and I felt a mix of sadness and relief. The years since I have ignored my feelings towards her, I managed to forget about them until recently. She has come back into my life, she now lives close by with some family and a new fiancé and comes to visit sometimes. I am conflicted about my feelings, I truly desire a relationship with her, but I don't know what to do. I hope this forum can help me in whatever way it can.
