Hello, I'm a male over the age of 18. I've had a couple experiences that were consensual, though I do continue to carry guilt and shame over the acts. I mostly wish to feed my curiosity and see how others developed their relationships or continued on afterwards.

We were in our 20s when we started.

In my case, my mom and I talked about sex, it was me who brought it up and we agreed. After the first time I had felt guilty and told her we shouldn't have done it. She took it as rejection, which didn't help. But after 5-10 times engaging sexually everything was fine and very enjoyable.

There should have been more discussions beforehand.
This was 30 years ago.

I've struggled with society viewing consang relationships are bad and gross. My dad found us and he said it was wrong on various levels including mom son, and they were married, tho they never got a divorce. My family is Christian so add extra guilt from the general message of Christianity.
