I am male, 49 and love my sister and I think she feels the same but we have yet to discuss it. So much at risk to lose, so will proceed with great caution. Look forward to hearing others situations.

Welcome digger! I have to parrot Jane's comment as mom and I got together when she was 57 and I 39. Still going after 14 years so it can be done!
