62 yo man who has had life long romantic feelings toward my Sister but I have never shared those feelings with her. I feel shame and guilt for my feelings and frustration over my powerlessness to deal with them. Hope to gain insight into how others with similar experiences. Thank You.

Welcome to KS, you're not alone here, as you can tell. Believe me, there is NOT REASON you should be ashamed of your feelings for your sister. Most of us have had to deal with hiding feelings, or in many of our cases hiding entire relationships from view. There is nothing wrong with you at all, there is something terribly wrong with society for not allowing you to express the true nature of your love in a healthy manner. You're amongst friends here, and we can help you sort out any mixed up emotions
