Hello, grateful to be here
Sat 31 Oct 2020 - 22:11
Hello KS — My sister and I are senior citizens living togetger as a couple. We take comfprt in having each other and each other’s total companionship and mutual support, a blessing at this stage of life. We have chosen to become expats in Thailand and that does eliminate the problem of others knowing who we actually are but we do sometimes wish we knew similar couples to compare and share some trivia with.

Hi, Pracjuap, welcome to Kindred Spirits and congratulations on your love with your sister. I’ve upgraded your membership.
I don’t recall any other members in Thailand, but we do have a lot of other bro-sis couples here, and a few members in the Far East. Please feel free to post anything you’d like to share in the members-only forums. I’d be interested in hearing what led you to move to Thailand, if you’d care to share that with us.
Stay safe,
UN

Thank you — will try to knock out a post soon. Am from the USA. Discovered Thailavd when I was a merchant seaman and decided to retire here. Sister wanted to visit for a holiday but wound up staying. She is 11 monrhs younger than me and we were raised by our single mom. We did not always get along so well when we were younger but there is comfort in having each other now, with shared memories, influences in our formative years, etc. Most of our close friends and relatives in the USA are dead and we have almost no ontact with the ones still alive. They know we are here together but they are there and we are here so that is probably the easiest way to describe that. Will try to send more details later altho it is a struggle and requiring numerous proof readings due to failing eyesight. Thanx again — more later
