Introduction

Hey everybody~ 27 year old male here. Simply put, I've been in love with my 59 year old mother for a very long time, but she's unlikely to ever reciprocate unfortunately.   She's divorced from my father (thank god) but has a boyfriend and lived across town. After all these years though she's still gorgeous and most of what I think about.

I have memories of when I was younger and we still lived together. We'd sleep in the same bed, even gave each other back rubs but it never progressed to anything more. Now I don't know if I will ever pursue her. If I did there's a long road ahead with no guarantees, but I'd like some advice/guidance

I was with my mom for about 5 years 30 years ago.
My mom and I were very affectionate, back rubs were a thing, wrestling around on the floor, talks, hanging out when she wanted to go somewhere but my dad didn't.
