Hey everyone! My name is KeKe, I am in my late twenties and...I'm just going to dive right into...I'm in love with my older half brother. We have had an on/off hidden romantic relationship for the last six years. We are currently off due to, you guessed it! The one law that says we cannot be together. There are no ways around it for us, we simply cannot be together as we wish to be, so why torture ourselves? It's a truly awful fact of life for us, but I'm so happy to have found a place in which I can talk about this all so honestly, and in which hopefully I can help make a difference for all of us.

Have you looked in to or considered safe states?

I have and as far as I know there is only one option, New Jersey. Which is not a viable option for us right now due to the fact that we both have children. I also am soley responsible for the care of my grandparents. So we can't just pack up and move everyone and everything over 600 miles away from where we currently live. We'd have to find new jobs, our kids would have to change schools, I'd have to help my grandparents move, custody issues would happen, among many other things. We have 14 years until our children are all 18 or older.

Yah all that does hinder the ability to move to a safe state unfortunately, sorry that is not an option for you at this time.
