Introduction

Hello, just found this site earlier today, taking the plunge to join and finally share my situation with others. I'm 40 years old and in a relationship with my mother (61). It's long distance, she still lives in our hometown, I've lived several states away for 20+ years since I left for college. It's difficult and frustrating sometimes, but we talk several times a week, and since we've opened up to each other we try to visit each other on about a monthly basis.

Yes, that's kind of the reason we set this place up, before KS there wasn't anywhere which catered to people who wanted to discuss things in an intelligent manner, minus the usual porn inspired ramblings on offer on the reddit groups. So far, this forum is the only one of it's kind (to the best of our knowledge), and we're quite proud of it
