Hello from an ally

Hello Kindred Spirits,

I choose to go by the pseudonym Walt Dee to protect my anonymity. I'm well over 18, being in my 50s. I am not, and have not been in consanguinamorous (Man! That's tough to say!) relationship but I've been interested in the topic since I was a teenager. I hope you'll consider me an ally.

I live in wonderful Austin, Texas, I am single (never been married,) I am not currently in a relationship with anyone, and my orientation is heterosexual. I'm currently self-employed.

I'm pretty much a technology geek, and I'm currently pursuing alternative accreditation to become a Social Studies/History/Civics as well a Computer Science  teacher in the high school level.

I love good music, particularly progressive rock, (Rush, Yes, etc.) and jazz. My favorite bands are Steely Dan and Rush.

I enjoy Italian food, and Tex-Mex, as well. Living in Texas, particularly Austin, it goes without saying that I love BBQ. (If you're ever in Austin, get in line about 9 AM at Franklin, an excellent BBQ restaurant. The ~2 hour wait is worth it, trust me!)

The more I learn about consanguinamorous relationships, the more knowledgeable I become on the subject and in favor of removing all legal barriers to consanguinamorous couples. I've long believed that the State should not have any interest on who marries whom, and that dove-joints well with my support for Full Marriage Equality.

Anyway, that's enough to count as an introduction. I'm glad I've learned about this forum, and I'm happy to interact (on any topic) with it's members.

As for my "lengthy" introduction, (I never would've thought 4 or 5 paragraphs would be considered "lengthy." ) I've always enjoyed and been good at writing as a way to express my thoughts. In voice I can be very misunderstood, but in writing I may sometimes come off quite erudite.

Write as much as you'd like. Please don't cut yourself short!
