Im PFP. I came here on the advice of a redditor, and I just want to say where has this been my whole life? I sure wish I would have known about you all years ago. My dad and I have been on again off again relationship for many years. With it being on for the last five. We have date nights, and go on short trips and vacations. He is still married to my mother, so that complicates things. I'm here for support and to share my story.

Hello all,
I'm a 27 year old ally writing from the US, I'm new to belonging to any online forum, and (to my current knowledge) am the only one in my family that has open-mindedness toward this subject, so I'm probably being overly vague/cautious due to that, sorry!
I'm here not only because I'm in favor of defying societal norms in pursuit of happiness, but because the topics and terms discussed here finally make me feel like I'm not alone. To me, the sort of "barrier" or stigma in place by society towards this topic has been strange and frankly undeserved for as long as I can remember. I really respect the creators and members of this community for having the courage to finally create a space that doesn't exclusively exist for porn/fetish reasons. I'm excited to look into it more.

Edit: I should clarify that it's curiosity yes, but I do also come here seeking support too. Ive never acted on any of my feelings or would say I struggle with them necessarily but as stated above, those feelings have existed strongly for my entire life, and Ive never had any outlet to discuss them, so I figured it was worth giving myself a chance to learn from some like-minded individuals. Not only “not exclusively,” but not at all. Porn and fetish material aren’t tolerated here. We aren’t fap fodder, we are real human beings with some unique troubles — and some unique joys.
