Hello All,
I am in my 40s and grew up very close with my sister (1.5 yrs younger). We had a brief time when we explored each other sexually during puberty. After going through what I thought was just a phase I started to fall in love with her and have had to live a life without letting her know how I felt until I opened up last year. Dealing with that now as she is not quite ready to talk about it with me again. I may never see this love get returned in the way I would like but still hoping. I like talking to others in similar situations.

Welcome, you found the right place to openly discuss as much as you want related to relationship and feelings about your sister.

My brother and I started exploring pretty young and it wasn't until I was 16 that I started to realize it wasn't going away as I thought it would. I am 20 now, and he 22. This past quarter in college I took a course in human sexuality, and sexual relationships among family members was topic people found most objectionable, but also they seemed more fascinated by it too. Only a couple of people were willing to admit they engaged in sex play with siblings or cousins, a few more admitted they had cousins that were sexual attractive, but they never acted upon it. Hard to say what others did, but not willing to admit to in open class. By the questions and their comments, I am pretty confident that there were much more secrets than were revealed about what they might have done or wanted to do if the opportunity had been there.

Your in almost the exact same position as me stonerose. im 51 though and been keeping my love hidden up until last valitines day when i opened up to her. she knew it anyway i think she liked being worshiped from affar the secret i think she found titilating and now its no longer a secret well i hope to one day she comes back and says she understands because she also my sister afterall.
