Hey,
It's great to see more allies! It's even nicer to see that you come from that kind of background. Some people who study science carry around negative attitudes towards these kind of relationships, despite the fact that genetics is a far more complex subject than someone can learn even in school. It really pisses me off when those who are supposed to study facts in a neutral way are incapable of doing so because of internalized social stigmas.
I really hope you learn something here. I've learned a lot just by talking to some people and paying attention to what they have to say. I get the sense now that human sexuality is incredibly diverse and that many people that don't acknowledge that diversity are in denial about the truths around them.
Up to this point in time there have simply not been enough studies done, and there are many gaps in knowledge for this area. I really hope science and psychology catch up soon.
