Proving that long(ish)-term members are welcome to vote as well: I found KS by a web search and had lurked off-and-on for over a year before “taking the red pill.” What prompted it was that I was participating in r/incest_relationships on Reddit when one of the long-term members here recommended KS to me.

Initially, Keith's posting(s) on quora.com led me to FME.  I read a lot there then back and forth between Consanguinamory and FME 'til I found this form posted on FME, I believe.

A lifelong interest in incest coincided with a passing interest in spanking and BDSM. That eventually led to a membership on FetLife, where I discovered the incest forums, and (as my religious beliefs had changed drastically over the years) I was able for the first time to admit my interest in, and explore my feelings on, that aspect of human sexuality. A few years ago, the credit card companies forced FetLife to ban all discussion of incest, and I discovered, to my amazement, that there wasn't any reason to stay there anymore. That had become my sole interest. Desperate to find an alternative forum, a Google search led me to FME, and a link there (I think) led me to Jane's blog. I chatted with Jane via email, she invited me here, and here I am.

I met my half sister a year ago. Now in our 40s. After 4 months of trying to understand and hide my feelings from her and a thanks giving weekend that made us realize we both were having the same feelings. We did a lot of research and trying to understand what was going on with us. We heard about this forum through a YouTube video. Glad to be here.

An online friend who goes by Mr. Man on Hip Forums told me about this place. I was not happy with Hip.

I've been viewing consanguinamory-related sites for years but this time I went looking specifically for a forum to join.

Found it through reddit awhile back looking at rincest. being looking for such a forum for ages and finding it was difficult as this seems to be the only one of its kind. begone to think such thing was banned though i knew it had to be somewere because theirs alot of us about. been a member before as well but have come back under a different name

I was searching on Google for forums on this subject and stumbled upon a Quora answer by Unowen mentioning Kindred Spirit.

Looking for like minded people who appreciate that all relationships can be a positive experience.

I voted other because I found the link to this site there^^^. I might have been link hopping from Reddit? IDK lol. I had been occasionally doing web searches on the topic and I will read almost everything I come across.

Technically I was both referred by someone who sent me to the FME blog link and another person sent me the same link after reading my post elsewhere about my father and I. I couldn't find much for a legitimate group in my online searching prior, just fictional stories and porn mostly. Feels good to be included, I'd almost lost hope there was a place online for folks like us to discuss the realities of these relationships

I found this site through the Consanguinamory blog, which was linked to by the Full Marriage Equality blog, actually. I've been following the latter for years now and remember hearing of this place before, but this is the first time I've actually come here.
